The TurnUp Family was awarded funding to create the TurnUp!TurnOut!GetVaccinated! campaign to establish a narrative that is both culturally compelling and supported by research. TurnUpTurnOutGetVaccinated social media toolkits containing a comic feature with a matching thematic campaign were shared with other grant partners throughout the grant period to assist in their messaging. A total of six kits were created. Each instalment relays COVID-19 messaging designed to generate awareness and dispel myths and misconceptions primarily in Black and African, Black, African Latin, and African American communities.
